What to write
The more you put in the message, the fewer questions are needed afterwards. Four lines are enough:
- what you were doing, in one sentence
- what you expected and what happened instead
- the kind of file (an .msg e-mail, a Word file, an image…)
- your Windows version and the program version
The log file
Whenever an error message appears, it always carries the path of a log file. Attach it: it holds the exact reason, and without it we are guessing.
How long it takes
This is a program written by one person, not a company with a support desk: the answer comes when it comes. Reports with a log attached are sorted out far more quickly.
Your files stay yours
The program sends nothing over the internet, and this site collects nothing about its visitors. If you write, only what you put in the message arrives.
